HEART AND SOUL: STEWARDSHIP & GENEROSITY CAMPAIGN

In 1 Samuel 14 God’s people were up against what seemed like insurmountable odds. They were outnumbered by an army that was already bigger and stronger, and it looked to human eyes that hope was lost. A young man in the fight by the name of Jonathan went to search for an advantage, taking only his armor bearer and a few weapons with him. Facing what literally looked to be an uphill battle, he told his armor bearer that perhaps the Lord would work in their favor. Jonathan acted in faith, knowing that God is enough to overcome any odds. The armor bearer’s response was simple, but a faithful one: “Do all that you have planned, I am with you heart and soul.” These men acted in faith, and God responded by giving them not only the means to fight, but to defeat this huge army of “uncircumcised Philistines.” Today, our culture is in dire need of hope of Christ, while the church, the carrier of this living hope, is facing more challenges each day. It is in this landscape that we choose to act in audacious hope, unconditional love, and radical faith in God.

We believe our church will continue to be a church that is necessary and that we will thrive for the benefit of our community while serving for the glory of God. To do this, we are collectively answering the call to give generously so that we can bless thousands in outreach and expand our campus to serve more children, youth, and families in our community.
